Halol
Effective 2011, TE Connectivity’s Energy Export Plant in India was migrated to Raychem RPG’s green field facility in Halol. With this set up, Raychem RPG consolidated manufacturing of their complete cable accessories business and named it ‘Energy Halol’. The plant manufactures power cable accessories for all voltages for overhead networks, substations, grounding applications, rail transport infrastructure and industrial applications for international and domestic markets. Manufacturing production range also includes Polymeric Surge Arresters & Insulators, High Voltage Connection System (HVCS), Extra High Voltage Cable Accessories (EHVCA), Screened Connectors and MV Covered Conductors. Raychem RPG is the only manufacturer in India for EHV Cable Accessories.

Self-Managed Teams (SMT)
Halol Plant, the first plant within RPG Group to introduce the SMT concept in 2009, focusses on empowering teams at grass root level in taking decisions on their daily work schedules. They determine, plan and manage day-to-day activities in manufacturing, packing, quality control & assurance, warehouse and engineering. SMT business model has three pronged benefits.
