Transparency matters
27 February 2023
Parameswaran Iyer
Organizations today face a lack of transparency. This often emanates from a fear of backlash. The tendency to hold back information and often what falls in the category of 'bad news' can have far reaching consequences for the organization such as loss of credibility, reputation and even financial loss. An early warning gives us the time to proactively react and initiate corrective actions, thereby minimising the impact of an impending "disaster”
So, isn't the perceived “bad news” actually good news for the organization ?
Let us create an environment that encourages our colleagues to be transparent, recognises and rewards transparency and the so- called "whistleblowers".
Let's spread the word “Bad news is after all Good news”.
