Established in 1980s, Vasai Plant is the oldest facility situated in Palghar District, Maharashtra, in close vicinity to Mumbai. It is the manufacturing site for global requirement of Cable Accessories for TE Connectivity. The facility includes inhouse testing and inspection of rheological, thermal, mechanical and electrical properties of polymers. This plant is the manufacturing hub for heat shrink/cold applied cable jointing accessories for TE Connectivity globally, as well as for supply to various electrical utilities and industries in the Indian domestic markets. It has a state-of-art set up for manufacturing personnel safety equipment.
